Typically, blue hour and golden hour are two of the best times for beach photography, each offering unique lighting conditions:
Golden Hour:
- Occurs about 30 minutes before sunset
- Provides warm, soft light with a golden hue
Blue Hour:
- Happens shortly before sunrise, when the sky has a deep blue color
- Offers cooler, more subdued lighting
- Perfect for creating ethereal and dramatic sky shots
Opt for light colors like whites, pastels, and soft blues. Coordinate your outfits without matching exactly. Avoid bright patterns or logos that can be distracting.
Once you book your session, I’ll send you a detailed guide with suggestions that will help you choose outfits that look great and photograph well.
Don’t worry! We’ll start with formal poses and then move to more relaxed, playful shots. Natural, candid moments often make for the best photos.
I’ll work with you to reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. If that’s not possible, your retainer will be held for one year and can be used toward a future session.
Absolutely! Simple props like blankets, beach balls, or picnic baskets can add a fun touch.
I’m always open to your ideas and special requests. Let me know before or during your session if you have any specific ideas in mind.
